Sophie is a North American river otter and a special member of the library team. Sophie is excited about all the wonderful books, story times, and other things she finds in the library. Watch for Sophie, she'll be making a visit to a library near you.

Tumblebooks

Tumblebooks is a wonderful collection of animated, talking picture books, puzzles and resources for families.

The books will appeal to children ranging in age from preschoolers to eighth grade.

Due to the animation, these picture books require a DSL or Broadband connection and the most recent Flash plug-in to successfully play the stories.

School's Out . . . Let's Go!

Looking for something to do in the Vancouver area? The Schools Out, Let's Go website lists over 100 programs available to youth during after school and summer hours. It covers the Vancouver and Evergreen School District areas.
